NCEA Level 2 Drama
Subject Description
Level 2 Drama combines theory and practical work to not only develop performance skills, but also create an understanding of our world.
Students will select and use elements, techniques, conventions and technologies associated with drama.
Research, evaluation and analysis will also be used to refine ideas within a range of dramatic forms to develop drama performances.
Students will perform and make critical judgements about how elements, techniques, conventions and technologies are used to create form and meaning in their own and others work.
Recommended Prior Learning
Level 1 Drama and/or English Level One Achieved.
