NCEA Level 2 Sculpture
Subject Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs M. Malcolm
This university endorsed subject explores the process of development that turns a 2 dimensional design into a 3 dimensional one. Student will study the sculpture of professionals and use these techniques to create their own unique works. Sculpture has a vocational pathway to jobs in the special effects, as well as film and theatre industries.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
A purchase of a pack of special art equipment is strongly recommended. This is done through the school at the beginning of the year.
Recommended Prior Learning
Year 10 art is preferred but not necessary. Entry to the course is at the discretion of HOD Arts Mrs Malcolm

Credit Information
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
