In Level 1 Applied Outdoor Education you will be working towards standards that will count towards a National Certificate in Outdoor Recreation as well as the National Certificate of Achievement in Education (NCEA). This course is designed to give students access and skills in various outdoor recreational settings. It will benefit students who wish to go into the outdoor or adventure tourism industry, the services and those who wish to learn about themselves when faced with a challenge.
