The learning in Health at NCEA Level 1 requires students to be able to explore influences on well-being, the effects of these influences and strategies to enhance or maintain well-being.
Students will investigate a variety of health issues relevant to teenagers. Topics covered include: goal-setting with strategies for achieving well-being, nutrition, managing change, relationships and sexuality issues and understanding issues relating to drug use.
This course is eligible for subject endorsement.
