NCEA Level 2 Carpentry
Subject Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs M. Webster.
This is a full year's course designed around furniture making. Students will make a series of set projects including a garden chair. They will learn how to select, use and maintain tools and equipment skillfully and safely to produce high quality products.
Recommended Prior Learning
Students KAMAR record must demonstrate consistent safe working practices and an adherence to expected classroom routines.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
$90 for raw materials. Extra embellishments and additional resources as appropriate.
