This programme is focused on the idea of providing practical opportunities for students to experience an interdisciplinary approach to learning.
This course aims to extend student’s knowledge in the creation of digital content, including apps, and websites. Students will be encouraged to use computational thinking when working with web (HTML and CSS) graphic (Photoshop) design. Students will gain knowledge in the following programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, Brackets, Thunkable and other apps development program. This subject can lead to tertiary studies and careers in areas such as graphic, game and web design, computer graphics and animation, computer programming, software engineering and I.T.
This course is strongly recommended as it leads to NCEA Digital Technologies Level and/or Product Design 1.2,3
