Preferably completed year 9 Robotics & Innovation or Digital Technologies

This programme is focused on the idea of providing practical  opportunities for students  to experience an interdisciplinary approach to learning.

 This course aims to extend student’s knowledge of the creation of digital content, including apps, and websites. Students will be encouraged to apply computational thinking towards web (HTML and CSS) graphic (Photoshop) design. Students will gain knowledge in the following programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, Brackets, Thunkable and other apps development programs. This subject can lead to tertiary studies and careers in areas such as graphic, game and web design, computer graphics and animation, computer programming, software engineering and I.T. Leading onto NCEA levels 1,2,3,Digital Technologies or Robotics and/or product Design at level 1,2,3

Its strongly recommended that students choose one or both Digital Technologies or Robotics  to support  pathways in the senior school.
